Micromax All Set to Launch Micromax A115 Canvas 3D in first week of May

Yes, that’s right. Micromax is ready to launch the much talked about first 3D phone from the company, the Micromax A115 Canvas 3D Smartphone in the first week of May.

As per the industry sources, Micromax A115 Canvas 3D will be equipped with a 1GHz dual-core processor and will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Going with the above specifications and being a 3D Smartphone, the price of this device is expected to be somewhere in between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000. The industry sources also reveal that just like other Canvas series Smartphones launched by Micromax recently, Micromax A115 Canvas 3D will also be a dual-SIM Smartphone.

As per the name by now you must have figured out that this new Smartphone from Micromax is a 3D phone which will allow you to watch 3D images and videos quite easily. Proving the earlier rumors to be correct about the specifications of Micromax A115 Canvas 3D, the phone will be a 5-inch Smartphone adding the phone in direct contest with big names like Samsung, HTC and Sony as its predecessor, the Micromax A116 Canvas HD.

NDTV Gadgets have reported as per their sources from Grapevine that Micromax A115 Canvas 3D may have a WVGA (480×800) resolution but there’s no official confirmation about it. The other rumors that are been out about the specs of the phone are that it will include a 8 Megapixel rear camera with a 2 Megapixel front-facing secondary camera., 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal storage with an option of expanding the memory using microSD upto 32GB.

Apart from launch of the Canvas 3D, there are also news that Micromax is working on their next device A111. There were pictures leaked all around the web and other tech blogs including ours when the leaked pictures and specs were first posted on the micro-blogging website Twitter. The phone is said to be in the final stages of development and may take some time to be launched to the world to see.
